We stand out among most other educational institutes because we specialize on a very small niche: the training of TIG/MIG welders.

Our graduates are performing well in other positions as well (CO2 welding, blacksmith, painter, spot welding), but the main focus of our educational program is TIG/MIG welding.

We recruit talents from the steel industry, enroll them on a special training course, and train them to enter the top echelon of welders in the world.

OUR STORY

Professional welder services ready to collaborate.

The story begun in 2018. with the Sialkot Trade-, Industry-, and Labour Corporation (STILCORP), an association to connect Pakistans main industrial region with the world. One of STILCORPs European Partners, the steel industry manufacturer SBS LLC., has proposed us to start a welding training center as a joint venture, and so it happened, in 2019. The pakistani state has recognized our efforts with granting state recognition (accreditation) in 2020., and SBS has contributed to it’s two decades of experience in the steel industry.

The region of Sialkot, a steel industry hub in Pakistan, was ideal for recruting welders, who have the potential to master TIG/MIG welding, but it was not well connected enough to conquer the world market. Therefore, the headquarters of the school has been transferred to Dubai, the UAE, in the year 2022., and operates from there since then. From this point on, the welding training center bears the name: ALGAD (that means „to begin”).

The shareholders of ALGAD -including SBS LLC- have limited the number of welders to be trained to 100 welders per year, to ensure a rigorous quality regime. Since 2022. we have partnered with several pakistani state welding schools, but the number of welders trained in our main institute is still limited to 100.

What we provide

Welders trained to meet the highest European, U.S. and NATO standards
An educational program tailored to the needs of the future employer (incl. language education, knowledge of specific materials, implementation of specific welding techniques)
Welders that won’t leave you after a few month, like migrant workers typically do. Many of our alumni work in the original work place for 2, 3, 4 years.

What is required on your end:

You need to be able to plan how much welders you will need with an accuracy of 3 months (once we trained your welders, you need to hire them by latest within 3 months)
You need to follow up your future welders education, to give us a feedback if your specific requirements are met during the training: our welders are tested on a weekly basis, recorded on full HD videos that can be viewed to verify expectations
You need to cooperate in the work permit procedure
You need to provide accommodation
You need to comply with the labour and immigration law of the country where the work is performed

What is NOT required from you ever

We train 100 highly skilled welders every year, for our clients in Europe and Asia.

To Employees

What is required on your end

At least 2 years verifiable experience in the steel industry, preferably a welder
Verifiable welder diploma
Good english communication including steel industry language
Readiness to learn the official language of your future employer in 6 months
Readiness to give up everything else until the course last
Sufficient funds to finance your training (1.250 EUR)
Sufficient funds to hire an immigration lawyer to manage your procedure, and to travel to Europe by plane. You need to have sufficient funds for 1-2 months, till you get your first salary.
You need to manage your stay in Sialkot during the course
You’re not going on a holiday: you accept not to take a day off in the first year.
Readiness to work 12 hour shifts if needed.

Application

Contacting us in person (either Dubai or Sialkot), trying to call us on the phone, writing us e-mails, or writing on Whatsapp will get no result at all, we’re ignoring any kind of contact, except for the one and only way to apply to us:

sending us a link of a full HD video on Youtube in which you’re welding, and presenting yourself with a few words in english. In the comment section, you need to present at least one company where you’ve been working, and that can promptly give a reference about you.

If the video is low quality, blur, crispy, or not specifically showing what we focus on (the weld) we will simply ignore it, and not give any feedback to you, due to the number of inquiries we get.

How it works

Admittance procedure:

You’ll have to weld in our training institute in Sialkot, in front of a board of welders and engineers.

If the quality and speed of your weld is acceptable, the board will ask you a few welding-related questions.

If the board finds you eligible for being admitted, you’ll need to pay the tuition fee in cash, in Euro.

Failing:

You’ll perform weekly welding tests, that are going to be recorded on video. If your progress is not sufficient, or you don’t bring the performance you’ve shown in the admittance procedure, you’ll be instantly fired without a refund or reimbursement of your fees. Missing one single test also results firing, no matter what the reason. The steel industry is not for people who don’t show up at work. We have enough trainees that do show up.

Missing or arriving late enough times to draw your instructors attention on you shall result in firing instantly, without refund. We don’t send problematic workers to Europe, or Asia, that have issues, that prevent them from showing up every day.

What you get:

Once you survive the 6 months rigorous training, you may get a written job offer from us from Europe, from your new Employer.

As a beginner at your future company, you’ll get the minimum salary of the country of your Employer. Still, with hard work, and low budget accomodation and food, you may support your family back home on a level that they most likely never experienced before.

As time goes by, you’ll earn respect, and salary raise as well. Don’t forget, that this is not something you deserve, it’s something you must earn.

As a foreign worker, you’ll have to work much harder than the local people, to prove your worth, and start earning actual money. This may take more working days, and longer ones. The record kept by one of our welders is 16 hours in one row.

You will need to finance your own travel to Europe, your transportation to your future workplace, and your own immigration procedure (lawyer, etc.).

For as long as 6 months from starting work, you may be on trial period, and be fired without any specific reason, at any time. The one thing to reassure you, is that Employers never lay off the good welders, it just don’t happen.
